The full number makes a difference.

Use the number printed on the card—even when the first number is larger than the set total. Match the artwork, language and finish too. Similar-looking cards can have different prices.

What happens if a price is missing?

Recognition and pricing are separate. Available estimates show their source and date. If we cannot verify a printing or find suitable sales, we explain the missing step instead of assigning a value.

You can keep an unpriced card with your own photo. Chinese graded pricing is not currently supported. A market estimate is not a guaranteed selling price.

Questions before you start

Do I need to install an app?

No. Use ScanMyBinder in your phone browser. Allow camera access to take a photo, or use photo upload. Computers can upload card photos too.

Is the Pokémon card scanner free?

A Free account includes 25 scans each calendar month. No payment card is required for Free. Manual lookup and collection management remain available after your scan allowance is used.

Can I scan Japanese or Chinese Pokémon cards?

The scanner can read cards in many languages, including Japanese and Chinese. Exact catalog and finish coverage varies. Confirm the printed details, and use an unverified entry when no exact printing is available.

Does a scan automatically establish a card’s value?

No. Recognition and pricing are separate. A supported exact printing may have a market estimate with a source and date. An unavailable price is not treated as zero.

Can I add duplicate cards?

Yes. Keep copies in your binder and record quantities. Check printing, finish and condition so different versions are not grouped as the same card.

Start with one card you know.

Check the match against your card. If something looks wrong, tell us the card name, set and printed number so we can investigate.
